Welcome to this month’s issue of Adjust Your Mind, where minds are transformed, hearts are revived and lives are changed. A few months ago, I traveled to Baltimore, MD from Moline, IL in order to attend my brother-in-law’s graduation from Salisbury University. When my family and I, got to the Atlanta International airport, it was as busy as a beehive.
Of course most airports are packed with people at ticketing counters, others rushing to get on their flights, some frantically starring at the flight status detail screen to find out whether their departure gates have been changed or not, as well many others picking up their luggage at the baggage claim. After closely observing the multitude of people around me, I realized that even at a place like this, what can make a difference in our interactions or experiences is our attitude!
We all know that life gets tough sometimes, and stressors seem to be inevitable especially when you are trying to succeed in business, at school, in your family affairs or at work. Therefore, how we react to our situations determine how well we propel ourselves into the future. It makes a difference whether we're truly alive or just trying to get by.
Take the time to reflect on your attitude today, it’s the greatest gift you’d ever give yourself.
