Be Grateful

Louis Farrakhan was asked what he thinks makes the great, great; to which he replied, "Poor is the man, who all he has is money." Scripture tells us in Heb 12:28-29 that, "Therefore since we have received a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear; for our God is a consuming fire." If you desire to see your dreams come true, learn to be grateful that the almighty has given you the ability to dream.

Oh how the master looks at the sick man at the well and knowing that this man had been sick for 38 years, dares to ask him, "Do you want to get well?" The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath (Jn5:5-9). If you want to make your dream come true, be grateful that you have a savior who loves you and sees you through it all no matter the obstacles.

The big secret is that there is no secret to living, Christ is within you—the Kingdom is within you! So live your life gratifying others around you. Make someone happy, help somebody in need, make an active effort to be happy, decide ahead of time that you will be happy because there will never be another you. So make the best of yourself!

Affirming Your Greatness

Do you anticipate more great things in your life? Do you need more clarity about a simpler way to make a difference in your life? Do you feel like asking why should you be responsible for someone’s actions? If you answered yes or contemplate any of these questions then you are in the right place.

Greatness demands your ability to respond to the events in your life and that process starts with how you THINK. Rather than thinking that you are only responsible for what you do, how about shifting gears and say to yourself, "I'm directly responsible for what I do but indirectly responsible for what others do to me." The moment you begin to realize this simple yet profound insight, you transcend into a higher realm of existence and become more aware of your own potential.

By transforming your thoughts in this manner, you:
· Increase your productivity at work because you tend to pay attention to details like never before and strive to give it your best.
· Start actively learning to be accountable for your actions rather than shifting blame.
· Tend to be more prepared when hardships occur in your life and more likely to see opportunities as they present themselves especially during such difficult moments.
· Move through life more seamlessly. In essence, you train yourself to become more fluid like.

The result of this new way of thinking is that you will embrace your greatness more frequently.
Transforming your thoughts to become a better you, is one of the greatest gift you could ever give yourself. Take the time to reflect today.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well —Psalm 139:14

There will never be another now, make the best of now and there will never be another you, so make the best of yourself—Princely Ebwe

What is Your Life's Vision?

Have you taken the time to discern a vision for your life or are you still waiting for that perfect career? Are you anticipating that perfect moment when everything is just right? Are you holding yourself back because of fear or because you "think" you lack some special skills needed to begin this process?

In reality, you don’t need eyes to see a vision for your life. What you need is a heart that is big enough to start. When your vision is big enough to surpass your fear, not only will you be able to see it clearly, but everyone else will be able to capture it; for your life is not a matter of fright but of light.
It is for this reason that the master says, “be the light of the world.” It is what Gandhi meant when he instructed us to be the change that we seek in the world. A clear vision of your life enables your light to brighten more lives than you can ever imagine. Why? Because we are all connected; intricately bound in a web of spirits, energy, force and light. Discerning your vision requires a sense of willingness, determination and humility. The reason why most people don’t take the time to create their vision is because of the fear of the responsibility it demands their souls. But those who are diligent in such practice find themselves experiencing a life of bliss.

So take the time to develop a vision for your life and if anyone tells you that you need to see it before you believe it, remind them how myopic their mind can be. Cast your vision, shine your light, live your life and watch what unfolds. The world awaits the man or woman who can tap into that power!

Reflections:

  • A student sees it before they believe it but a master believes it before they see it. — Dr. Demartini
  • Where there is no vision, the people perish but happy is he that keeps the law. — Prov 29:18
  • For we live by faith, not by sight. — 2 Corinth 5:7

When your vision is big enough to surpass your fear, not only will you be able to see it clearly, but everyone else will be able to capture it!
